| Day 1: Cairo Arrival |
Arrive at Cairo and be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at Leisure to explore the local surrounding. Overnight stay at Cairo.

| Day 2: Cairo & Giza - Overnight Train to Luxor |
|
Cairo is the capital city of Egypt and sits on the East bank of the River Nile. After breakfast, depart for a full day guided tour of Giza and Cairo . Here, see the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycrenos and their guardian Sphinx; these are amongst the most impressive man-made spectacles in the world. Later, visit the Khan el Khalili bazaar. This is one of the most historic markets in the world, founded by the Emir Djaharks El-Khalili in 1382. Lastly, visit the Egyptian Museum to learn about the 4000-year-old Egyptian civilisation, including the history of the treasures of Tutankhamun. In the evening, take an overnight sleeper train to Luxor on which a continental dinner will be served.

| Day 3: Luxor |
After breakfast on board the train, visit the west bank by coach and see the amazing Valley of the Kings, made famous in 1922 by the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun. Here, visit three tombs before continuing to the Temple of Hatchepsut at El Deir El Bahari; one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt and the famous Colossie of Memnon. After lunch, check in to the cruise for the following four nights stay (early check in is subject to availability); enjoy a continental dinner followed by an overnight stay.

| Day 4: Luxor - Esna |
After breakfast on board, visit the Karnak Temple (the world's largest temple complex) to see the Temple of Amun and the Temple of Luxor . After a relaxing lunch on board the cruise set sail towards Esna where the evening is free to enjoy and explore this ancient merchant and farming town followed by a continental dinner on board.

| Day 5: Esna - Edfu - Kom Ombo |
After breakfast, set sail for Edfu to visit the Edfu Temple; one of the best preserved temples in Egypt dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Enjoy a relaxing lunch on board and set sail towards Kom Ombo. Later, visit the Kom Ombo Temple , which is shared by the two Gods, Sobek and Horus. Sobek is known as the crocodile god and the river here was full of crocodiles until early this century. Only after the construction of the High Dam did the crocodiles start to disappear. Later enjoy continental dinner on board. |
| Day 6: Kom Ombo - Aswan |
After breakfast, set sail towards Aswan to visit High Dam; the world famous High Dam was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. Later visit the Temple of Philae ; south of the city of Aswan, this beautiful complex is dedicated to the Egyptian goddess of magic and life; goddess Isis. Later enjoy a continental dinner on board. |
| Day 7: Aswan - Cairo |
After breakfast, visit the Nubian Museum; opened in 1997, the beautiful lines of its architecture alone are worth seeing. Nestled into the hillside, it covers 50,000 square meters of landscaped gardens and buildings which are divided up into different sections. After lunch on board, enjoy a tranquil sail along the Nile around Kitchener's Island and Mausoleum of Aga Khan by felucca; a traditional wooden sailing boat. In the evening, take an overnight sleeper train to Cairo on which a continental dinner will be served.

| Day 8: Cairo |
Enjoy an early morning breakfast on the train before arriving at Cairo railway station. From here, be transferred to the hotel (early check in is subject to availability). The rest of the day is free at leisure. Enjoy a farewell dinner at an Indian restaurant. |
| Day 9: Cairo Departure |
After breakfast, rest of the day is free at leisure till your departure to Airport.
