Day 01: Istanbul - Kayseri - Cappodocia
Arrive Kayseri via Istanbul and be transferred to Cappodocia. Check in at the hotel. After fresh up proceed for Sightseeing which includes Devrent Valley, Monks Valley, Avanos, Goreme Open Air Museum, Uchisar, Kizilcukur, Cavusin, Guvercinlik and one of the undergroud cities, Kaymakli or Derinkuyu. This tour is divided into 2 days with lunch. Overnight stay at Cappadocia.
Day 02: Cappadocia - Istanbul
After breakfast, proceed for remaining of the sightseeing. Later transfer to airport for your flight to Istanbul . Arrive at Istanbul and be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay at Istanbul.
Day 03: Istanbul
After breakfast, begin our tour of the Sultanahmet district, the heart of old Istanbul , at Saint Sophia*. Built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD, this church is one of the marvels of world architecture. Its massive dome dominates the skyline of old Istanbul. It is famed for its mosaics, including glittering portraits of emperors and empresses. Next we visit the Blue Mosque, which owes its name to the exquisite tiles adorning its interior. Dating from the 17th century, it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets. The Hippodrome, the stadium of ancient Byzantium, held 100,000 spectators and featured objects from all corners of the empire. Of these, an Egyptian obelisk and a bronze sculpture of three entwined serpents from Delphi survive. The Grand Bazaar was the commercial heart of the old city and its 4,000 s hop s are full of treasures - including carpets and kilims, silks, jewelry, ceramics, icons, and leather goods. Wandering through the Grand Bazaar, indulge in some s hop ping, Ottoman style. (Also available on Tuesday afternoon). Overnight stay at Istanbul.
*On Mondays, when Saint Sophia is closed, we visit the Chora Church , famed for its mosaics and frescoes.
Day 04: Istanbul - Athens
After breakfast, depart for a half-day Bosphorus Cruise. Take in the sights and sounds of this legendary waterway lined with historic villages, grand wooden mansions, imposing fortresses, and the Baroque summer palaces of the late Ottoman sultans. After the cruise, visit the Spice Bazaar (closed on Sundays), a thrilling riot of colours, sounds, and the rich smells of exotic spices. Later transfer to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Athens . Rest of the day is free at Leisure. Overnight stay at Athens.
Day 05: Athens - Sounion Tour
After breakfast, drive along the coastal road, passing the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni & Varkiza to the most Southern point of Attica, Cape Sounion, where the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand. On the way, you have a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the little islands offshore. After visiting the Temple of Poseidon, you have time to walk at leisure on the rocky promontory of Sounion. Overnight stay at Athens.
Day 06: Athens - Full Day Argolis Tour
After breakfast, leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea, (short stop). Drive to Mycenae, the Homeric city of Atreides, the city "rich in gold" of the ancient poets. Visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs e.t.c. Depart for Nauplion through the fertile plain of Argolis, the picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress (short photo stop), leave for Epidauros, to visit the Theatre (4th century B.C.) famous for its astonishing acoustics. Return to Athens by the National road connecting Epidauros with Corinth. Overnight stay at Athens.
Day 07: Athens - Aegina - Poros - Hydra
After breakfast, early morning transfer to the Piraeus Port pier to begin your full day cruise to the Saronic islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra. Lunch and entertainment will be on board. First sail for the island of Hydra. In Hydra you have time at leisure for strolling, shop ping or swimming. In the early afternoon sail for the island of Aegina, passing through the narrow strait separating the Peloponnesian coast from the island of  Poros. Upon arrival in Aegina you can either join the excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (extra cost) or walk around the main town. Later sail to Poros for short visit. Finally, remark for the sail back to Piraeus Port. Arrive at Piraeus Port and be transfer to your hotel in Athens. Overnight stay at Athens.
Day 08: Athens - City Tour - Airport
After breakfast, this morning proceed for sightseeing tour of Athens which includes the Acropolis and its museum, the Ancient Agora, Temple of Zeus , Hadrian's Gate and the first modern Olympic Stadium. Begin with drive to Panathinaikos Stadium, cradle of the first Olympic Games in 1896 (short stop). Pass by the Prime's Ministers residence, ex Royal Palace, Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrian's Arc, St. Paul's Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann's House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church, Acropolis (visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erechtheion). Overnight stay at Athens.
Day 09: Athens Departure
After breakfast, day is free at leisure till your departure to Airport.
